Whole Body Activation (aka Biofeedback)

What is biofeedback? It's a type of mind-body technique you use to control your body's functions, like heart rate, breathing patterns, and muscle contractions.

I'm going to show you in a video down below how to do biofeedback more specifically for the benefits of your muscles but this technique drastically improves your brain function, memory and health as well.

A beginner tip to practicing whole body activation is to start with just one muscle. Give it a little biofeedback by lightly touching it with your hand and then start flexing it to feel that it's contracted. This will prime you to then implement this on a larger scale and engage more muscles at the same time.

With that said, here are 3 reasons why you should start practicing this technique during your training! 👊

1. Improves Muscle Activation

Intentionally and consciously engaging the targeted muscle, you will recruit more muscle fibers, leading to maximum strength and muscle hypertrophy and ultimately better results.

2. Stronger Foundation of Form And Technique

Practicing conscious body mechanics using this technique helps you maintain proper form, which reinforces your stability and allows your to prevent injury and train at a higher level safely.

3. Maximize Results In Minimum Time

Building a stronger mind-muscle connection is imperative to your muscle and strength progress. As your mind-to-muscle connection improves you'll unlock higher levels of muscle and stretch also.
